Lama Owners of Washington State (LOWS) is a diverse group of lama (llama and alpaca) owners that share a common bond, specifically enjoying lamas.  Our membership ranges from small farm owners with two lamas to larger farms with over 50 lamas.  We enjoy and advocate several lama-related activities, including hiking and packing, carting, 4H, therapy, companion, showing, fiber arts, guarding and, of course, fertilizer production.  Whether you have two or two hundred lamas or are just interested in finding out more about these interesting animals, LOWS has a lot to offer.

If you are a NEW llama owner, or would like to find out more about raising llamas, please follow the links under Why Llamas? in our menu on the left to find basic information on llama care and requirements as well as links to llama mentors and tips on searching for additional llama information on the Internet.

See our Events Calendar for the latest local llama events!

The LOWS website has recently had a complete overhaul and has many new features. This website will continue to be updated and undergo change.
